29 april 2002 - Trencianska Tepla (SK). The superb little 6km long, 760mm gauge tramway from the main line railway station at Trencianska Tepla to the nearby spa town of Trencianske Teplice was opened in 1909 and in recent years has operated these railcars. The line is partly on roadside reservation, as seen here.
The line was closed down suddenly by ZSSK on 10 December 2011and its future is not currently clear, although local interests hope to operate a summer-only service this year.

29 april 2002 - Trencianske Teplice (SK). The little tram sweeps across a busy road crossing on the way to Trencianska Tepla. In later years, this was the only line of this type still operated by the Slovak State Railways, who obviously wanted to get rid of it, so closed it down quite suddenly a few months ago.
