31 march 2011 - Arad (RO) – depou/zajezdnia U.T.A. In the packed yard at Arad’s U.T.A. depot. There always seem to be twice as many trams here (and at the other CTP depot) than are actually needed for service. Perhaps they just had an eye for a bargain? This GT6 came here from Bochum and is double-ended – quite a few Arad trams are of this type, although there is no evidence they ever use this feature.

16 september 2013 - Arad, Bulevardul Revolutiei. Arad zrobił na mnie niezwykle dobre wrażenie. Do tego, w porównaniu z Wegrami, jest tu taniej, smaczniej i z porozumieniem się w języku angielskim nie ma problemów.

5 october 2005 - Arad, Piata Garii. W Aradzie co jeden wagon to inny. Nie wiem jak się teraz tam sytuacja układa ale wtedy można było spotkać "demobil" z całych Niemiec i nie tylko.

22 april 2009 - Arad, platforma Vest. Jak dla mnie hit inwestycyjny! Wybudowana w 2005 roku linia do strefy przemysłowej wykorzystywana jest... dwa razy dziennie. Linia 1b pojawia się tu koło 7 i koło 15. W dni wolne tramwaje tu nie kursują.

11 september 2009 - Arad, Strada Dunării, pętla Piata Gai. Sielski obrazek rumuńskiej wsi, choć teoretycznie jest to dzielnica niemal 200-tysięcznego Aradu. Szóstka dociera tu nawet co 20 minut, przystanki wyznaczają mijanki, zaś rozkład miejscowi z pewnością znają na pamięć :)

5 october 2008 - Arad, Romania – Teatrul Ioan Slavici. More head scratching – perhaps all Romanian tramway breakdown men are sent on a training course, to learn how to do this? Anyway, the first tram across the repaired track is an eight-wheeled ZGT8 Deuwag, one of the biggest they’ve got, so the engineer watches anxiously whilst it creeps across the newly-welded rail.

5 october 2008 - Arad, Romania - Strada Giogirliei. Another ex-Essen tram squeezes along the narrow, unmade street towards Piata Romana. At the time of my visit, track renewals elsewhere meant that twice as many trams as normal were using this street – a definite bonus!

11 september 2009 - Arad, pętla Sere. Projektant tej reklamy z pewnością miał niezły ubaw, upodabniając helmuta do bielizny. Piętnastka kończy tu, trójkątując, zaś jej przedłużona wersja (oznaczana jako 15 kreślone) dociera 9 razy dziennie do dość odległej elektrowni.

5 october 2008 - Arad, Romania - Piata Romana. A GT6 this time, on city Line 3. This tram is ex-BOGESTRA in Bochum. Piata Romana is a busy spot and trams are continually arriving and departing. All pointwork is manually-operated, though, and a pointsman is employed here all day to stand in the road and change the points.
