Wyciągnięty z muzeum skład wykonał dziś 3 kursy na trasie Ealing Common - Uxbridge. Na zdjęciu pociąg pełen entuzjastów w strojach z epoki wyprzedza stojący na bocznicy współczesny skład linii Piccadilly.

20 april 2008 - London Borough of Ealing, Ealing Common LUL. The historical train pulls out of Acton depot, which holds most of the rolling stock collection of the London Transport Museum. If only those stupid Health and Safety rules didn't have to make the guys in the cab wear Hi-Viz vests...

20 april 2008 - London, Ruislip Manor. And they had to run it on the highest notch right behind a Met service - now as punishment they have to stand at a signal for a little :) BTW: is this set really that ugly? For me it's a classic.

14 september 2008 - Amersham, Buckinghamshire (9 londyńska strefa taryfowa). Historyczny skład w peronach najdalszej stacji metra, do jakiej da się dotrzeć bez przesiadek.
(dalej położona jest stacja w Chesham - ale żeby do niej dojechać należy w Chalfont & Latimer przesiąść się na wahadłowy pociąg Metropolitanu).
..no ale starczy już tego wykładu - podziwiajmy. ;)

14 september 2008 - Chorleywood, Hertfordshire. Historyczny skład pojawił się tym razem na najdalej sięgającej nitce londyńskiego metra - linii Metropolitan, od której to nazwę wzięły wszystkie systemy kolei podziemnej.
..w sumie za przewoźnika należałoby tu uznać London's Transport Museum. ;)
