David: the way we decided to name British buses is Chassis Name / Body Name. In this case it's a Dennis Dart SLF / Caetano Nimbus.
As you know, I really can't recognise one modern bus from another, as they aren't really my thing. If it helps, the bodywork is by SC Coachwork of Hampshire - I never heard of this company before (or does the 'C' stand for Caetano?).
BTW - Route 430 was my regular bus to school, in the days when it was operated by green London Transport RT buses and a ticket cost one (old) penny
SC stands for Salvadore Caetano - a Portuguese company that builds bus bodies, and has a substantial share of the UK bus market - they're the ones making the bodies for the new NatEx coaches with the shiny silver grille. And do I wish there still was something called "Green Line" operated by proper double deckers - not the few Citaro/Plaxton-operated suburban lines here and there around London.
