26 may 2003 - Freidrichshagen, Germany – S-Bahnhof. The Schonieche tramway is another independent line in the Berlin suburbs, this time metre gauge. Schonieche has obtained a large selection of interesting old rolling stock over the years and is also very enthusiast-friendly, so worth a visit. GT6 car 42 is a classic Duwag from Heidelberg and is seen here at the western terminus. This type is not much used today, though, as Tatra KT4Ds run the basic service.
