Tide Buss AS will take over the traffic in parts of Vestfold from July. There will be 14 of these Scanias, and I believe the rest will be Mercedes-Benz.
Thank you so much! 14 Scanias Citywide - that`s correct. Maybe Norway in the future will be more often buy Citywide from Słupsk.
There will actually be more soon. From January most of Aust-Agder region will get new buses. The contract was won by Setesdal Bilruter on half of the region and Agder Buss on the other half. Agder Buss is owned equally by Setesdal Bilruter and Telemark Bilruter. It was earlier announced that Scania will deliver all new large buses for the traffic, with Citywide LE, OmniExpress 320, OmniExpress 340 and Higer A30. The contract is on over 100 buses, which is the largest contract to Scania in Norway ever. Not sure how many Citywide there will be, but I guess there will be a couple of dozen of them. Arendal, with a population of 44 000 is by far the largest city in the region.
Oh, and the new traffic in Vestfold is in the municipalities of Sandefjord, Larvik, Horten and Lardal. The first three of them are cities, so these will most likely be running in those cities, or between them. Maybe not in Horten, as it is significantly smaller than the other two. Lardal has less than 2500 inhabitants, so we will not see any Citywides there.
Setesdal Bilruter ordered together 114 Scanias. From Słupsk will be about 17 Citywide.
