1 march 2015 - Budapest, Andrássy út. An other interesting creature from BKV, which shouldn`t exist: the pimped 405.
In 1995 next to the normal Ikarus midis, two special version were bought to carry disabled persons on special, some kind of "house-to-house" routes. The buses have an about 1,5 metres long low floor part at the second door, so it is possible to access with wheelchair, altough the door are very narrow.
Both buses were scrapped a few years ago, but the resurrection came in 2014: one of them got new engine, new gearbox, air conditioner, tinted glasses, new color, new displays, new registration plate, and of course this ugly new face. His brother is under renovation now...
