30 may 2006 - Riga, Latvia/Latvija - Bauskas Iela, near Bisumuiza. Historic (and sometimes works) car of Type MTV-82, one of a type built locally in Riga for many Soviet tramways. Completely destroyed by fire a few days after this photo was taken - a very sad loss.

30 may 2006 - Riga, Latvia – Tipografijas iela. This impressive, locally-built car was retained in the Riga fleet as a works vehicle and for occasional charter trips. However, it burned only a few weeks after this photograph was taken and was lost – very sad.
