19 march 2008 - Ostrava, Dilny DP Martinov/main workshops Martinov. Several new trams have been built by Inekon for the Washington Department of Transportation, USA and will be operated by Metro Washington. #903 is shown here nearest the camera. There is a slight problem – there is no tramway to run them! The Anacostia streetcar line was meant to open in 2007, but no construction has taken place – so the cars are stranded in Ostrava and just go for a little local trip occasionally to keep them in good order. How crazy is that?

8 january 2017 - Waszyngton, Benning Rd. Ten wagon ma tu już zdjęcie, wykonane w marcu 2008 r. w miejscu swego powstania, czyli Ostrawie. Na wejście do służby liniowej przyszło mu jednak poczekać ponad 8 lat. To najlepiej ilustruje jak przeciągała się ta wspaniałomyślna inwestycja. Rada Dystrktu Kolumbia podjęła decyzję o budowie sieci tramwajowej już we wrześniu 2002, 15 lat później mamy czynny krótki odcinek demonstracyjny i brak perspektyw na budowę kolejnych fragmentów planowanej 40-kilometrowej sieci w najbliższych latach.
