1 april 2013 - Riga, Kundziņsalas 6. šķērslīnija. As of April 1, 2013 bus route no. 33 is closed and replaced by trolleybus route no. 3. It means that some runs of trolleybus no. 3 are extended from Sarkandaugava to Kundziņsala, on this part of the route trolleybuses are using diesel generators.

2 june 2017 - Ryga - pętla Kundziņsala. Ciekawostką każdej sieci trolejbusowej są odcinki tras pokonywane bez dostępu do sieci trakcyjnej. W Rydze są takie 3 miejsca: widoczny na zdjęciu wariantowy odcinek trasy linii 3 do Kundziņsala, trasa spod dworca w kierunku wschodnim (linia 9 i 27) oraz końcowy odcinek trasy linii 27 na osiedlu Ziepniekkalns. Na odcinki bez trakcji wysyłane były do tej pory wyłącznie citelisy wyposażone w dieselagregat.
