29 january 2014 - Bridge Street, Brigg, Lincs. The Plaxton Centro body was not hugely popular in the UK, nor was the VDL SB120 chassis on which is was based, despite the massive similarities to the very popular Dennis Dart chassis. The engine used in the SB120, although badged as a Paccar unit was developed with Cummins and Iveco under the European Engine Allicance and is identical to the Cummins ISBE4 engine, which is also very popular due to its prolific use in the Dennis Dart chassis.
Also, I am sure many readers will be interested in the Hornsbys vehicle that previously wore this `cherished` registration mark: One of only a handful of Renault PR100`s to operate in the UK!
